The UK Centre for Tissue Engineering (UKCTE) is a research unit in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine in the University of Liverpool, Division of Clinical Engineering, School of Clinical Sciences in the Faculty for Health and Life Sciences.

John Hunt, PhD DSc

John Hunt is a Professor in Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine and head of Division of Clinical Engineering in the School of Clinical Sciences. He has academic interests in techniques to assess the cellular and molecular mechanisms of biocompatibility and tissue engineering. He is on the management committee of the Liverpool Institute for Nanoscale Science, Engineering and Technology. He is associate editor for Biomaterials, subject editor for Biomaterials in Current Opinion in Solid State and Materials Science, member of the editorial boards for European Cells and Materials and International Journal of Adipose Tissue

Nick Rhodes Nick Rhodes, PhD

Nick Rhodes is a Reader in Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine with academic interests in biocompatibility, biomaterials, stem cells and tissue engineering. He is on the management committee of the Liverpool Centre for Glycobiology. He is an officer of the executive committee of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS) an Associate Editor of the Annals of Biomedical Engineering and member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Adipose Tissue.
